This fire roasted salsa is easy to make and is the most versatile sauce that you can ever make. This literally is a pantry essential that can be used from topping your morning scramble, lunch wraps, tacos, nachos, chilaquiles, burritos and even your rice bowls. The uses are many and it only takes 10-15 mins to make.
Fire Roasting Tomatoes:
The first step in the process is to fire roast the tomatoes. I used a skewer and kept rotating the tomatoes for an even char and roast. You can also use Tongs to hold the tomatoes and turn them every 2 mins.

Fire Roast the Onion next:
Once done with the tomatoes, fire roast the onion the same way.

Don’t be scared by Ghost Pepper:
To make this I have used two different types of peppers, 1 ghost pepper and 2 dried red chilies. Just make sure to soak them in hot water at least for 20-30 mins and remove the seeds before using. These two processes will help to reduce the spice and this sauce will be mild, not spicy. Don’t be scared by the sound of Ghost Pepper. When you only use 1 and soak and remove seeds, it reduces the spice drastically. If you don’t have Ghost pepper, you can also use Adobe chili or Ancho Chili. The other variety will create a less spicier version and If you want more spice, add a raw green chili.

Blend Everything
Blend all the fire roasted, tomatoes, onion, garlic, peppers along with vegan Worchester sauce, cumin powder, rice vinegar, sugar & salt.
